PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE
2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
From 2 Peter 1:3, we see that we have all the pertains to life and godliness, through the knowledge of God. Through this knowledge we have received many great and precious promises (which are fulfilled in Christ). The reason God did all this for you and I is so that we can be partakers in His divine nature, having being saved by Jesus Christ.
To partake in something is to share in it. To have fellowship or communion in the divine nature. By the works of Christ, we have communion. We share in the fullness of the divine nature of God. This divine nature is of the Spirit not of the flesh. It is of eternal Life not of human life. It is the fullness of Christ in you. It's what you got when you got born again. Glory to God!
You share in God's divine nature. In essence, you have God's divine nature in you. By virtue of all that has been bestowed on you in Christ through the knowledge of God, it is natural for you to be divine. You don't have a human nature. No! You are not human after all. You are not limited like the humans are. You are divine.
The God Life nature is your own normal. It's normal for you to be Godly, righteous, healthy, powerful, successful, great, miraculous, loving, favoured etc. You are a source of salvation to others, because you are divine! Glory to God!
_Now if you're not born again, you can join our super divine clique by saying this prayer: "dear God, I believe in Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world. I declare that He's Lord of my life. I receive eternal Life, your divine nature into me. I receive your Spirit into me. Thank you Lord I'm born again". Congratulations. Do well to reach us. Remain on the Word and in prayers.
