CONTINUALLY AWARE 1

John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

To be continually aware of God's presence and Word is very vital to living sincerely for God. However, this is something many people struggle with. Sometimes, people lose an awareness of God's presence, and they suddenly think and feel God is far from them, so they get scared and run into errors. Follow the example below.

If you read for a test, and memorise your books, you'll know what you have been taught. When you see a question in the exam, you may not immediately recall the answer to things you read. So you try to remember what you read. When you recall or remember it, you become aware of the answers you read previously. You recalled it because it was brought to your remembrance by your memory. It's a similar thing with God's Word and presence.

To be aware of God's presence and Word is for His presence and Word to be brought to your remembrance, such that you are not trying to recall or remember your being in Him. You know (you're aware) you're in Him, and you know His Word in the now. This simply means that to be continually aware of God's presence and Word is to be continually reminded of Him and His Word.

If you are continually reminded, then you'll be continually aware of His presence and Word. But how can you be continually reminded? Can you remind yourself? Can your brother or sister in Christ help you? Join us tomorrow as we look into these things. Remain on the Word and in prayers. You're blessed. -TCF
