YOU NEED TO BE TRAINED
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6 NKJV
It's important to understand that when you are born again, you actually experienced a real birth, which was spiritual. You were born into a real realm, the realm called Christ, and you are born with a special life which is the life of Christ. Just like a child is born into a real realm called earth (physically) and he's born with the human life, it's similarly so for the man who's born again.
A very important thing to understand is that when you are just born again in the Spirit, you are just as a baby is in this physical world. You need to grow, learn and be trained. Now the thing about the realm of Christ is that growth doesn't automatically happen by the passage of time.
Growth happens by the trainings and building up brought about through the Word of God and the things of the Spirit. This means that an elderly man, could've been in Christ for twenty years, and still be a child in the Spirit because he didn't commit to spiritual growth.
Now an heir as long as he is a child doesn't differ from a slave, until he is trained and comes up to maturity. Do you want to have the Christ experience in your life, then submit to be trained, by the Word of God, by being pastored in church, by exercising and practicing the things of the Spirit. It's not about your age, you need to be trained.
Affirmation: Dear Father, I thank you for your kingdom and your life in me ever since I was born again. I submit to your Word, to be taught and trained in the things of this new life and kingdom. I submit to leadership inspired by the Holy Spirit, to be guided in life, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
