O' STRANGE LAND
(A Poem dedicated to Christian Corpers)
O, Strange land!
We've been made to believe that
"Far from home" can become "Far from God"
You were the burning flame on campus
Full of passion and vigour for God.
But you traveled and now your labour is in discord.
Your message was purity
Your message was revival
But now you struggle for survival.
Posted for Nysc In a far land
Where the "Papa ride on" is scarce
Where the eyes that know you are few
So you set your spiritual life in Curfew
O' minister do not let the strange land make you a stranger
Lest you become a stranger when you go back home... .
O strange land...
We won't bow to a strange God.
