THE RAPTURE, FOR ALL SAINTS
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. I Thessalonians 4:15 NKJV
Do you know there is good news for all of us who are in Christ Jesus? Our life and togetherness spans beyond this world. Some people may have felt hurt, sad or even betrayed because they've lost loved ones who were faithful to God.
But don't feel sad, there's comfort for you. They are not lost at all. They are only asleep in Christ. It doesn't matter for how long they've been gone. We will have a gathering with Jesus soon. This is what our theme verse begins to explain to us.
Jesus is coming back for all who have believed in Him, to raise all up with a glorious body. This is popularly referred to as "THE RAPTURE". It's such a beautiful news and it will happen really soon. We who are alive in this world and are in Christ will not precede those who are in Christ and have passed away from this world.
They will be raised first, with a new kind of body, the kind of the glorious body with which Christ was raised from the dead! We also who are in Christ and remain in this world will be changed to the same body, and in a split second we will be caught up with them to meet the Lord in the sky. Our daddy is coming for us. Be glad!
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you dearly for the privilege of being a part of your family. I thank you Lord for all who have ever believed in you even before this day. I await your coming Lord, and I look forward to being caught up in the air to meet with you. Glory to God in Jesus name. Amen.
