IF ANY MAN DESIRE THE OFFICE OF A BISHOP:
IT IS AN OFFICE THAT IS OPEN FOR EVERYONE:
IF YOU DONT DESIRE IT DON'T ATTACK THOSE WHO DO:
EVERY TIME YOU GATHER PASTORS YOU WILL ATTACK THE OFFICE OF A BISHOP:
JUST TO MOCK YOUR FRIENDS AND BROTHERS WHO ARE BISHOPS:
AT THE END OF THE DAY MOST OF US ARE SUBMITTING TO A FATHER WHO IS ALSO A BISHOP:
HOW CAN A MAN THAT WAS CONSECRATED A BISHOP BY ARCHBISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA NOW BECOME A WRONG MAN TO CONSECRATE OTHERS?
YOUR PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE BISHOPRIC BUT WITH SOME OF US WHO TOOK IT:
You are okay with the man answering Reverend without any scripture to back it. Where is Reverend in the Bible? According to scriptures, Only God should be Reverenced some will tell you. But I have no problem with that.
You are okay with a pastor-bearing Dr without having WAEC and GCE.
A Drop out in school but a Dr in ministry after a one week program at Abia State. Because he is giving you money, you call him Dr openly. But a Bishop not bringing money is now a fake Bishop.
You are very comfortable with An Apostle without ordination service.
There are prophets everywhere without ordination service.
You are even okay with an evangelist and a pastor that nobody has ordained physically as one.
But a Bishop that took his time to subject himself to a reputable college for screening before consecration into the office, is now seen as the wrong one.
THREE THINGS THAT WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME THIS YOUR RE-OCCURRING CHALLENGE WITH THE TITLES EACH PERSON CHOOSES TO BEAR:
1. Never gather pastors and attack their titles. That is why you hardly see Bishops, ArchBishops and Apostles seated in most ministers conferences. Go to Canaanland in Ota, the headquarters of RESULTS in ministry, Everyone is addressed with their official titles. Are you wiser than Papa Oyedepo?
2. Respect individual preference of titles. If somebody says he is an Apostle don't call him Pastor just to slight him. If he says he is a Pastor, don't call him an Apostle just to mock those who are Apostles.
3. If you have hatred for titles, take your time to regulate it among your branch pastors and not among church founders. When you become an umbrella in ministry, you will cover both a big head and a small head. All kinds of heads will come under your umbrella and if you push them away, there are too many umbrella bodies waiting to inherit them.
AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT IS NOT THE NAME YOU ARE CALLED BUT THE FRUITS AND THE RESULTS THAT YOU HAVE THAT MATTERS.
LET US GO FOR MORE KINGDOM RESULTS BUT ACCEPT OUR INDIVIDUALITY.
TITTLES SHOULD NOT SEPERATE US.
THEY ARE PART OF THE NON ESSENTIALS THAT SEPARATE US.
