FREED FROM THE CULTURE AND FASHION OF THE WORLD

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

Ephesians 2:1‭-‬2 NKJV

God has made us alive, made us free from the death spell caused by sin and trespasses. We once walked in sin and trespasses, which is the culture and fashion of the world. This means that since the fall of man, sin has been normal in the world. Yes, there is more decay today, but the world has always considered sin as normal and in fashion.

So you'd be considered generally out of fashion with the world's culture, if you are to uphold a lifestyle of righteousness, and that's what you should uphold. The sinful culture of the world, is a direct result of the satanic influence of the devil and his demons in the world's atmosphere.

There are spirits that influence the character, culture, and traditions of people. People are manipulated to accept the things they accept, believe the things they believe, and behave the way they behave especially when it's worldly. It's a result of satanic influences in the atmosphere. He's actively at work in those who are disobedient to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is why we must have a spiritual approach to transforming the lives and character of people. Many times, we'd need to break demonic strongholds that have been mounted in their lives and mind through the age long lies and deception of Satan. They are blind, and only the power and message of Christ can give them light. Hallelujah.

Prayer: In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for all who are under the influence of Satan and his demons. All who are subject to deception. I pray that Light comes to them. That they learn the truth of Christ, and the power of darkness be cut off from their hearts in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
