NO TRUTH IN THE DEVIL
“You are of your father the devil,...He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”
John 8:44 NKJV
Notice the pattern of Jesus and the Apostles in casting out devils (Matthew 17:18, Acts 16:18). They didn't have much conversations with the devil's they cast out. It was usually straight to casting the devil out. This was because they understood the false nature of devils.
Jesus said, there's no truth in them. And they lie naturally. Can you imagine that? What business would you have listening to someone who has no truth in him? It's not that they lie sometimes, no. Jesus said there's absolutely no truth in them!
Yet many delight in holding conversations with devils before casting them out, opening themselves up to be deceived. Many others have based their life beliefs or decisions on what devils have told them either in dreams or even in person.
We have no business making a decision based on what the devil said in any way. Our life should be and must be based on Jesus Himself, the truth and word of God. Refuse to fear the enemy, but be filled with the word and the Spirit, and be quick to cast the enemy out!
Affirmation: I refuse to give heed to what the devil has to say. I refuse to listen to his lies and gimmicks. I'm moved, built and kept only by the word of God in Jesus name. Amen
