FREEDOM; TO THE SPIRIT, NOT THE FLESH
For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Galatians 5:13
Where ever the spirit is, there is liberty, Freedom! How people love the word freedom and desire to be free! Now it is important to understand that if you are now free, it means you were bound to something, and now you are free from it.
So a question many need to ask is, “if we are free in Christ, then what were we bound to?“ from what did he (Jesus) deliver us. Many don’t ask this question, so they walk straight back to the things Jesus freed them from,
and they make an excuse that in Christ they are free. Yes you are free! But free from what? And free to do what? Freedom is not vague! You are freed from sin and death and it’s lifestyle, and you are free to do righteousness! And to be led by the spirit!
So understand what freedom you have in Christ! Freedom to the spirit and not to the flesh. Understand the definitions of your freedom. Remember freedom undefined is not freedom at all.
Affirmation: I believe that in Christ I am free! I am free from the flesh, from death and sin, and it’s work. And I am free to live a life of faith, righteousness and love in Christ! Indeed I am free and my freedom is defined, in Jesus name, amen!
