YOUR OWN FAITH
......We want to work together with you so you will be full of joy, for it is by your own faith that you stand firm.” 2 Corinthians 1:24 NLT
Have you realized that your life as a Christian must be worked out by you? Do you know that you are the one responsible to make yourself a success at God’s call in your life? If you’ve realized this, have you accepted this responsibility?
Have you not heard that you should work out your own salvation with godly fear and trembling? (Philip. 2:12). That simply means you should pay attention to ensuring that you live your life in Christ to the full by God‘s word, and in God‘s standard.
Nobody is going to do it for you, no one. Your parents may pray for you, your friends may preach to you, your pastor may intercede and talk to you, but then it is by your own faith that you stand firm! You your own faith!
You are responsible for the outcome of your life, and you have the responsibility of working out your own salvation in Christ as His spirit leads you. May the Lord grant you understanding.
Affirmation: I am responsible for working out the salvation of God in my life. I succeed at this because of God‘s grace at work in me. I am diligent with all Christ has committed to me, and I will fulfill my ministry. I will make Him proud.
