TO FILL YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 NIV
When Joshua had succeeded Moses and was about to start out his ministry of leadership, God gave him the recipe for prosperity and success. He told him to always speak the word or speak in line with the word, and also meditate on the word day and night.
These two things will make him to always deal wisely and walk in alignment with the word of righteousness, and then he would have prosperity and be successful. But why did God have to specify that his medication must be day and night?
It is simple; if you consistently make time for something during day hours and night hours, that thing, whatever it is, will fill your consciousness and always be on your mind. God understood that the day would be so full of activities, so he urged him to meditate day and night.
The same results produced for Joshua will be produced even more gloriously in your own life, if you follow diligently, the same word he followed. God wants to fill your consciousness and change your life. Will you give His word attention during day hours and during night hours?
Affirmation: I choose the word of God to be more important than any work, or engagement, or activity that I might have to do at any time. I give God’s word my whole attention, day and night, and the word produces His results in me to the glory of God!
