IRRESPECTIVE OF PEOPLE
“We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors.” 2 Corinthians 6:8 NLT
Have you been attacked by people in anyway because of your stand for Christ? This attack maybe verbally, physically, spiritually, or even socially . Well if you haven’t, as you grow in Christ and in diligence to His work, you definitely will.
So when it happens, what will be your response? Will you chill and draw back because of people’s opinions or treatments? Surely they will say hurtful words to you, or do hurtful things to you. But will you allow these things get to you?
God is bringing this word to you today to prepare you for the days ahead. The days when people will attack you or stand against you for the sake of Christ. You must remain strong and dogged.
Remain bold and courageous; faithful to Christ and His message. You must also remain in love, and refuse to respond to those people in hate and anger. You must choose to remain a Christian, irrespective of the treatments or actions of people. That is maturity.
Affirmation: I choose to remain faithful and committed to Christ and His gospel irrespective of what I face . I choose to remain and respond to people in love irrespective of the treatment people give. I choose the way of victory, hallelujah!
