OUR MINDS AND MOUTHS FOR WORSHIP
that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:6
Our minds and our mouths are instruments of worship to God. Many have not recognized this. Some still think worship to God it’s only about the slow flowing songs they sing during the worship session in church. No! Your songs of praise and adoration to God our only one way to worship Him.
Truly, worship has to do with your life. Of devotion to God, and this devotion starts from within you, from your heart, then your mind, before it even becomes a song. It is a heart that is truly devoted to God that can produce a life of devotion to God.
What are the thoughts of your mind? Are they filled with honor and adoration for God? Do you keep your mind as an acceptable sacrifice to God? Your mind is an instrument of worship, and your mouth too.
What words do you speak? Not just in your songs, but in your regular speech. Do your words communicate God’s glory? Or you’ve not been conscious of this? Let your mind and your mouth produce God‘s glory daily. Be blessed.
Prayer: Blessed be God, who is so gracious and kind. Father I adore you for making me an instrument of worship. My mouth, my heart, my mind are filled with your praise and goodness continually. Only you are God, in Jesus name amen.
