DON’T STAY DOWN
For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,... Proverbs 24:16
The mistake many folks make in life is giving up after their last failure. The truth is that the reason people are successful at anything is because they didn’t stop trying the last time they failed. At anything you’re working out, be it your spiritual life, academics, finances etc, you can only truly fail when you give up on yourself in that area.
In other words, events may make you fail, but events cannot make you a failure. You could only be a failure if you choose to stop pushing. But Christ has created a success in you.
The scripture testifies that you may not get it straight up at the first try, that’s okay! The righteous man may fall seven times, but he rises again.So what’s not okay is you choosing to stay down because you failed. That’s not the working of righteousness in you.
Don’t stay down. Don’t give up on God. And the truth is that He will not give up on you. So don’t give up on yourself either. The secret to success is that you keep going. And in the process of time, you will rise again. You’re blessed. TCF.
