GOD WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN PERFECTION AND PROGRESS.
Please listen to me before you go and make a mistake with the garden that God has given you to nurture and to preserve because it doesn't look like the one in the dreams and fantasies you have made up for yourself.
See, If the beginning already looks like the end that you so desire to see, please pause and check that relationship carefully, remove your feelings and emotions from clouding your heart and judge that person intentionally through the lenses of the Spirit, because if it is God bringing you two together, if that person you so love is from God, if that relationship is at the core of God's will, then He will always leave room for growth.
He will always leave a space between where you are and where you want to get to, that space is called growth!
Many of you are too eager for perfection, that you forget that growth is one of God's cardinal virtues.
If it's too perfect please test that Spirit.
If it's too certain please judge that feeling.
I know what on your mind now is "Can God not give us perfect gifts?"
You better drink cold fanta and relax.
Growth is perfection.
Learning together is perfection.
Building together is perfection.
Having goals to keep chasing is perfection.
Yes God can give us perfect gifts, but it is not like the gift comes perfect, no! It is more like we who are more perfectly placed to contain whatever stretching that will come with the gift.
God says He will never give us more than we can handle. So if God is giving you a gift of a spouse, be rest assured that you have what it takes to contain whatever storms that will rise in the process.
The question now is?
Are you perfectly placed to receive the gift of a spouse from God?
