SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 1 Corinthians 12:7
We know that there are diversities of gifts, differences of ministries, and diversities of activities, in Christ Jesus. But all these are inspired by the same Holy Spirit of Christ.So we all can’t function the same way within the body, but no matter what our functionalities are, we all function for one purpose, the life and growth of the body of Christ.
Whatever gift or ministry, or activity you are led by the Spirit to do, or empowered to perform is for the profit of the body and not your own profit. Always look at the bigger picture..
You can be made an offer that profits you, but doesn’t provide the body as a whole. But in the long run the end of that offer would be the ways of death.
But you can’t be made an offer tha profits the body as a whole but yet does not profit you too. Though it may look less profitable or less lucrative for your you personally in the short run, yet in the long run, the end is life , for the body and for you. Think of the body first before you think of yourself. Always see the big picture. You are blessed. TCF.
