BE INTENTIONAL, BE DELIBERATE
Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9
As believers in Christ, we must understand that our walk in the Spirit, while here on earth, is not just an all smooth, nonchalant one.The environment in which we dwell, is naturally patterned to function in the flesh, and to cause those who dwell on it to function in the flesh.(Romans 8:20).
If you live in this world, and you leave yourself to time and chance, you will end up being conformed to this world and walking according to the flesh. This may not be what you want, but if you leave yourself unchecked, that's what will happen.There are many elements trying to corrupt the mind of a man,
but glory to God, the law of the Spirit of Life has given you deliverance and victory over them.(Romans 8:2). All these mean that to walk in the Spirit, to live in the will of God, you must be intentional and deliberate about it. It cannot happen by mistake.
We make it our aim, whether present or absent from Him, to be well pleasing to Him. We make it our aim! Some people walk and fall, and don't make progress, going in cycles because they are merely living nonchalantly.They've not made it their aim to live well pleasing to Him. Don't leave your walk in the Spirit to time and chance. Be intentional. You're blessed. TCF.
