CHURCH GIST: WE MUST KEEP GOING OUT UNTIL THE OVERFLOW BECOMES OVERFLOWING - BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

* It is going and going that fills His House.

*The ultimate is not filling the Church facility, it is filling the Church facility to overflowing: overflow that overflows. That is God’s agenda.

* Church growth is a product of every member of the body birthing and contributing their quota to the growth.

* Prayer is a lifetime task for a growing Church that must remain growing.

* Covenant Hour of Prayer is for lifetime in this Commission.

God has programmed these two months as our appointed weeks of harvest.

-No one shall miss his place.

-Your crown, another man will not take.

Prayer: Ask God for grace to maximise the blessings of this season. Ask Him for grace to stay spiritually awake.

Thank You Lord Jesus.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for another brand-new day. Thank You for another brand-new working week. In the name of Jesus, let your good hand rest upon each of us and by your Word this morning, set us in motion for You. In Jesus precious name we have prayed.

As we all know, we serve the God of increase and the God of multiplication.

Acts 2:46; Acts 6:7 – But we must plant and water before the God of increase can step in. Paul plants, Apollos waters and then the Lord gave the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). You don’t wait for a harvest in a field you have not planted, in a field you have not cultivated. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). You don’t plant on an acre of land and expect harvest on 10 acres. You sow sparingly, you reap sparingly. You sow bountifully and you reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6). We must plant and water before the God of increase can step in. We must plant multiplied seeds before the God of multiplication can step in (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). You want to reap bountifully, then sow bountifully.

Here planting is about reaching out to the lost with the seed of the gospel, the Word of God while watering is praying for the seed to grow and bear fruits. Praying for souls to be saved and established in the Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8

They have equal access to rewards. They are one. One is planting, the other one is watering, everyone shall receive his own reward according to his own labour (1 Corinthians 3:8). There is a place for everyone in a revival.

This week, we will be looking at:

NO CHURCH GROWS WITHOUT A PEOPLE ON THE GO

Luke 14:16-23

We are very much familiar with that. The feast was set and at the time of the dinner, He sent His disciples, “go tell those who were invited that the feast is ready. All things are now ready.” They gave one excuse after another, He said, “go again.” They went and there was still more room. They went. “Go again and compel them to come that my house may be filled.”

It is going and going that fills His House. We have to keep going and going until the House of the Lord is filled. Not the Church facility this time, but overflow, overflow and overflow until it becomes a city without walls. Go and go until almost the whole city gathers together at the feet of Jesus (Acts 13:44). Massive city routing harvest and that goes to fulfil the scripture, “tell this young man, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for multitudes of men and cattle therein” (Zechariah 2:4-5). Multitude of men. Cities and towns without walls. Towns without walls for multitudes of men and vehicles and motor bikes and tricycles.

So, the ultimate is not filling the Church facility, it is filling the Church facility to overflowing: overflow that overflows. That is God’s agenda.

There is no President that gives birth to the population of a nation. It is each family’s input that becomes the population of a Nation. There is no king in every village that births all the natives, it is individual families within that village, that contribute their quota to the population of the village. So Church growth is a product of every member of the body birthing and contributing their quota to the growth.

We saw this growth strategy in John chapter 1 verse 40 to 42. Someone must tell another, “come and see” before they choose to come. One of the two disciples that heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

John 1:41-42

“Brought him” (John 1:42). Someone has to bring somebody for Jesus to save and rescue.

John 1:45-46

We saw again another experience here.

“Come and see” (John 1:46). That is the task of growing the Church. Someone is out there saying, “come and see. Come and see Jesus, the Son of the living God, restoring dignity, saving souls and repositioning people for glory and honour. Come and see.”

That is the task.

This woman encountered Jesus, by name the Samaritan woman and went to town, “come, see a man who told me all things…” (John 4:29).

John 4:39

Someone has to get on the go. Jesus has to get out on the street to say, “come and see” and then you find the Church growing.

No Church grows without someone on the go.

In the same vein, every growing Church is a praying Church (Psalm 2:8). You have to demand for it. It doesn’t come on its own, it has to be demanded for.

Psalm 2;8, Ezekiel 36:37

It has to be demanded, you have not because you ask not (James 4:2). Every growing Church is a praying Church and every growing Church must remain a praying Church to keep growing. So prayer is a lifetime task for a growing Church that must keep growing. Prayer is a lifetime task for a growing Church that must remain growing.

James 4:2

Prayer must remain the companion of every growing Church, otherwise the growth will stop. Covenant Hour of Prayer is for lifetime in this Commission. The fire on this altar must keep burning in it, it shall not go out, otherwise the move of the Spirit will cease (Leviticus 6:12-13). That is the way it works.

But interestingly God has not asked the seed of Jacob to seek Him in vain (Isaiah 45:19). Church Gist. There are attendant blessings that accompany every commandment of scriptures. You get involved and then the blessings become your entitlement (John 14:21). He has not asked us to seek in vain (Isaiah 45:19).

Among the blessings that accompany men and women that engage in a revival is protection and preservation. They returned with joy saying, “even devils were subject to us in your name.” He sent them and they went.

Luke 10:17-19

“Nothing shall by any means hurt you” – you remain hurt free while you remain on the go for Christ.

You take any deadly poison; it shall not harm you (Mark 16:17-19). It is not in vain and you can’t buy protection with money.

Psalm 127:1

You enjoy protection and preservation among other things as you engage with the demands of a revival.

Why? The labourers are few, so He has a responsibility to preserve the few labourers to keep them on the job (Matthew 9:37).

-You shall be kept.

-Your eyes shall not see evil anymore

Because you are part of the labouring army of Christ in this end time, you are entitled to protection and preservation, both you and your household.

Prayer: I am set to get on the go for you. I am set to get on the go for you, on the prayer altar, on the streets, in my neighbourhood, in my workplace. I am set to be on the go for you and I thank You because this week shall be a most fruitful week for me.

Pray in that prayer, decree that this week shall be a most fruitful week for you.

Grace to remain a registered labourer in the Vineyard. Receive it now. Grace to remain a registered and fruitful labourer in the harvest field, receive it now. Grace to remain a registered and fruitful labourer in the Vineyard, receive it now.

In Jesus precious name we have prayed.

He that reapeth, receiveth wages as he gathers fruits unto life eternal (John 4:36). There are wages attached to your engagement and my engagement. He reproved men that withhold the pay of those reaped their field (James 5:7). God is committed to your pay pack in return for your engagement. God’s integrity is committed for your pay pack.

What that means is this, your involvement must mark the end of harassment of the devil on your life.

-No devil can tamper with God’s hand on your life; with God’s blessings on your life in the name of Jesus.

Well, be assured of your pay. Be assured of your wages. God is not a robber. Be assured of your wages, God is not a robber.

SPEAK TO THE WEEK

Commanding it to be a most fruitful one for you, both on the prayer altar and on the go for Christ. The gospel raid is on, ask God for grace to be a most fruitful branch in the Vine this week.

Speak to the week to open up.

Your going out is blessed.

Your coming in is blessed.

No concerns, no distractions but congratulations.

You must hear congratulations this week!!

Everything is turning in your favour. You must hear congratulations this week.

Everything is turning in your favour!

In the name of Jesus Christ.

Well, next Sunday is our Covenant Day of Open Doors, so you have a subject of marketing. So go, market the Master of doors: when He opens, no man can shut.

Go, market Jesus as the One that opens and no man shuts; and shuts and no one opens.

The harvest will be mammoth. Your reward will be open, everyone will see it.
