THE PEACE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
Yesterday, we saw the realities of the kingdom life experience; righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Today, will look more deeply into the beautiful peace of the Holy Spirit.We live in a world greatly troubled and in distress by the expressions of the bondage of corruption (Romans 8:21).
We find that the peace of the natural man is continually hampered, almost seeming to be a natural sequence caused by the regular disorder in this world.Men in Christ find themselves living along side natural man in this peace lacking world, and many times find themselves experiencing the same troubled hearts that the natural men are prone to. This ought not to be so.
We are in this world but we are not of this world. Our origin, and constituent make up do not play tune to the patterns of disorder prevalent in this world.We in Christ have something the world do not have. Something that speaks of the kingdom. Jesus reveals this to us, "peace I leave with you".
In the middle of a troubled world, He gives this to us, "my peace I give to you". He says, "not as the world gives do I give to you". It’s just like a sea diver in the middle of a sea with a tank full of oxygen at his back.Is he supposed to be afraid? Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid! Glory to God. we will continue tomorrow. You are blessed. TCF.
