THE RIGHT POINT OF VIEW
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18
In the two previous teachings, we saw how people see themselves in the wrong point of view, while viewing scriptures. What then is the right point of view? Remember the topic for those teachings? Put yourself in His shoes! That’s right, that’s exactly what it is. Put yourself in Christ's shoes!
Wait! Do you think they are too big for you? No they aren’t! Jesus Himself made you fit into them perfectly (1 Peter 1: 23). What do you think it means to be a joint heir with Christ? You are just as He is. To them who believed, He gave authority to become the sons of God (John 1:12).
What do you think the Holy Spirit is showing you here? See yourself as you see Christ! Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). Catch this truth and reality! That He put you in His shoes, and expects you to see yourself as being there. His life is your life! His ability is your ability, as He is, so are you in this world!
When you read scriptures, see yourself as the one in whom the Holy Spirit dwells and operates in. That will make a whole lot of difference. You are Christ in you! Refuse to let sin, fear, sicknesses, poverty, hate, malice, or any such thing remain in you! Renew your mind to be just as He is! Be blessed. TCF.
