But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: John 1:12
Just imagine a traffic wader, standing at a T-Junction. He has been given authority by the government to stop or pass oncoming vehicles as he deems right to ensure there will be no accidents in his sphere of influence. Now a truck is coming from one end, and an SUV from the other.
Imagine this traffic wader in his uniform runs out of his post and starts shouting "government, come and help me, government stop these cars for me". LOL funny right? But that's exactly what many Christians do. Well, for this wader your guess is right, there would be an accident. But what about for the Christian. You think there wouldn’t be problems? Wrong! There would be!
Ever saw Christians who really pray and cry too much, even calling on God, still going through that demonic oppression, that sickness, that manipulation for donkey years? Yeah, exactly! This is their scenario. Just like the government gave that wader authority, to act himself in their name, so God has given authority to all who receive Him.
Authority to function as sons of God in His name. He didn’t give you authority for you not to know what to do when you see a problem, Or for you to start crying to Him because of problems! He gave you authority and expects you to use it! We will continue tomorrow. Be blessed. TCF
