BE CONFIDENT HE'S GOT YOU
Mark 1:40
Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
For some Christians, the problem is not whether or not God can touch them. Many believe God can heal them, they believe He can change that situation. They don't doubt His ability to do, but they just aren't sure if He is very willing to do it for them.
So they don't doubt His power and might, but they are not so sure if He will be willing to let that power work in their own lives. Just like the leper said in our theme verse, "if you are willing, you can make me clean". For many they know God can do it, but they aren't sure if He'd be willing.
But the very next words of Jesus reveal His heart towards us. Mark 1:41 says of compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand, touched him and said to him, "I am willing; be cleanses". Just see the heart of Jesus towards you.
Out of compassion, so much care, love and kindness, see Him stretching out His hand to you and saying, "I am willing, to bring peace joy and love to you. I am willing. I have done it. Be whole". Be confident He's got you. Simply believe His words. Don't doubt His love. He is willing. He has done it. Be whole. You are loved. -TCF
