YOU ARE GOD'S GLORY
Isaiah 46:13
I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off;
My salvation shall not linger.
And I will place salvation in Zion,
For Israel My glory.
You are not an ordinary being. When you received salvation in Jesus Christ, you were reborn from above. Completely fashioned for the glory of God. God made you in His image and in His likeness, and gave His Spirit to you, sealing you as His own.
Now He expects that your entire life will bring glory to Him because that's why you were created. Don't wait for God to somehow bring down His glory to you. You are the one to express His glory through you. That's your responsibility. Why? Because He fashioned you for that purpose. He already glorified you, by making you in His image and likeness.
Now He expects you to glorify Him through your fruits (John 15:8). So you realise that for the glory of God to be made manifest, it has to come from you, because you are the expression of His glory. Anywhere God's glory is not visible, it's not because He withheld His glory.
It's simply because His children aren't expressing His glory. The glory of God does not come from heaven down to earth. It comes from earth to heaven, and not just anywhere in earth, it confess out of the children of God. Little wonder He addressed Israel as His glory. When you arrive, the glory of God arrives. Abide in Him, that you will be a continual source of glory to God! You're blessed. -TCF
