THE IMPORTANCE OF THE SPIRIT
John 14:18
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
The Holy Spirit is the most precious gift, ever given to man by God. Because the Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is Christ. Jesus speaking to His disciples said, "I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you".
This singular scripture shows the unity of Jesus Christ, as one and the same person as the Holy Spirit. He is God in us. Christ came to give Himself to us. And that's why the Spirit of God is highly important to us. The Spirit of God in us, is the presence of the Father as our Father.
The Spirit of God in us, is the testimony that we are in God's divine family. The Spirit of God in us is the assurance of our salvation. The Spirit of God in us, is the fullness of God in us. He is the one we received at salvation. Jesus Christ in us, is the Holy Spirit.
That's why we can't walk this walk alone. We can't operate separate from the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Lord and master, and truly we saw one with Him, literally 1 (Corinthians 6:17). This understanding will show you that there's no you apart from the Holy Spirit. And your being is an effulgence of Him. The Holy Spirit is the most important person in your life. Talk to Him now.
