Topic: What do you want me to do for you?

For reading and Meditation: Matthew 20:29-32

Thought: Whenever you are asked a question that are pointing directly to solutions, ensure you are intentional in giving a reply.

Matthew  20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

In our text was the story of the two blind men who encounter Jesus Christ.

The main reason why the two blind men received there healing was due to the fact that they know what they wanted.

Many at times many people come to the presence of God without knowing that which they actually want from him. They are so much burdened with the loads of care in their life that they allowed themselves to be loaded with completely and mumurings instead of that which they ought to ask.

Whenever you are seeking the face of God, one of the principle is that you must be specific in your requests.

You know what you wanted and what God is actually expecting from you is that you go straight to the point.

The two blind men has actually overcome the stage of opposition from men and they actually knew that there is one more stage to pass through which will lead them to the field of Success.

Jesus asked the blind men  Matthew  20:32 after calling them " ......... What will ye that I shall do unto you?"

And the blind men without hesitation or complaining point out their needs to Jesus Christ and they instantly receive their healing.

Today, Your cry for attention has gotten to the throne of grace, Jesus Christ has stood still, he his calling unto you now and he is asking you now "What do you want me to do for you?"

You must be very specific about this rather than asked amiss.

When Jesus Christ asked the question, the reply of the two blind men weren't in this nature "Jesus please help us" or "Ah we have suffered o" and they didn't start shedding unnecessary tears when the question was thrown out to them.

What then did they do?

The two blind men look beyond their previous times of suffering and they gave the specific reply to the question which is pointing to their immediate need.

One thing is to cry out to Jesus for mercy another thing is to ask him or answer him in accordance to his will and the question he is throwing at us.

What do you want him to do for you?

Give the reply now by going to him in place of praying. Be specific about this.

Assignment : Apart from giving the right answers to the questions Jesus Christ is asking from someone, what else do you think is needed to catalysed his responses?

 Prayer Points

1. Jesus! I refused to be Emotionally inclined when there is the need for me to give the right answers to the questions coming from you.

2. Anything that has come to be a bother to me, I rebuke you now in the name of Jesus.
