BE JOYFUL!
Romans 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Just as we are conscious about walking in righteousness and keeping our peace, we must be conscious about living in joy, In the Joy of the Holy Spirit. Many people have ignored the fact that joy is a very spiritual thing, and is one of the gifts the Holy Spirit brings to us.
In fact, just as true righteousness and peace cannot be found outside of Christ Jesus, that's how Joy cannot be found outside of Christ Jesus. We are born again to be joyful. Triumphantly joyful. You have everything you need to be joyful, but you are responsible for keeping your joy and remaining in joy.
The devil and the world will try to give you tangible reasons as to why you shouldn't be joyful but refuse to see reasons with him. You must remember that God expects you to be ever joyful. He has made you a victor and an overcomer. He has given you His precious Holy Spirit, and He has assured you, that all things always work together for your good if you love Him.
What could be better than that? You have no disadvantages whatsoever, so long as you walk with God. Never lose your joy. Your joy is a very powerful weapon! The joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10). Just as you refuse to loose your peace, even in the storm, you must keep your joy and remain in it no matter what happens. You are a joyful being, remember that!
