THE GATES OF MARITAL BREAKTHROUGH!
This is not a teaching, but a serious warning to whom it may concern;
One of the reasons why it seems like God is delaying your marital appointment is because He knows that a wedding is the very weapon the enemy is waiting to use against you. He knows.
One of the reasons why it seems like you are praying too long for a destined spouse is because the Holy Spirit is blocking all your possibilities. He is blocking all your channels because He is enjoying the sweet and beautiful fellowship you are sharing with Him now that you are single. He knows that the moment He opens that marriage gate for you to enter you will seize to have common sense. The minute you pick a date for your wedding and start shopping for your wedding dress is the minute you will start diluting His presence and His influence in your life. He knows.
Now that you are single you detest worldly music. The only genre of music you listen to are everything gospel, from praise, worship songs and Spirit chants, but the moment your friends throws you a surprise bridal shower with all sorts of worldly and vulgar music you will dance soapy and forget your spiritual home training.
You that have a strict principle against short dresses and revealing clothes, anything that shows your arm and tigh is a turnoff for you. But your friends will make a revealing dress for you to wear in the name of bridal shower and you will wear it with all joy and show the world your cleavage, because you want to do wedding.
How fast we ignore our godly values and kingdom principles at the sound of "I am getting married."
This is why God keeps us back sometimes, because He knows you will just go and disgrace Him at the point where it matters most.
You stay in your closet to pray for your marriage. Everyday "Oh Lord, I want to get married, this is my season." Nobody sees you praying in your quiet place. But when God answers that prayer for marriage and sends you out as an Apostle to advertise Him from the wedding process up to your marriage, you go there and water Him down, you go there and start removing Him from the scene little by little.
You were praying at the santuary for marriage everyday, but when the marriage comes your friends will organise a surprise bachelors party for you at a night club with alcohol and weed but you won't see anything wrong with it. Somehow your home training disappears, the same person who prayed in the secret place for marriage will go and be celebrating getting married in ungodly places.
WHY?
WHY DO WE WATER DOWN THE HOLY GHOST AT WORK IN OUR LIVES. WHY?
This is where the enemy sits and waits for us. At the gates of our marital breakthrough, because he knows we are too eager and too desperate for a wedding, and with this zeal we are willing and ready to compromise all it takes to wear a white dress and slay in a black tux.
