Daily devotional: the joy of the rapture

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, __In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The truth of the rapture remains one that cannot be disputed,as it's clearly testified of, severally in the scripture. However it's quite unfortunate that this truth is still disbelieved by many. This is not surprising because the rapture is a mystery. It's not something the earthly minded soul will understand or believe, but then, it remains a joyful truth, waiting for all we who believe and understand.

The rapture is the sudden catching away of all who are in Christ (both those who are now asleep, and we who remain physically alive). In a moment, less than the fraction of a second, at the sound of that glorious trumpet, those who are asleep in Christ will rise with their glorious bodies (the same kind with which Jesus Christ rose).

And we who remain on earth will be transformed so quickly that no security camera will be able to capture the moment. We will all simultaneously be caught up together to meet with our beautifull Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who will be waiting to receive us with love, care and open arms.

All this will happen so quickly that the world, and all who don't believe will be at a total loss as to what exactly has happened. But to us, it will be a total moment of joy, and pure bliss. One we live, expecting strongly. Join us tomorrow as we discuss more deeply on the subject, but till then, live in joy and readiness for the rapture. You're blessed. TCF
