WE BEHOLD CONTINUALLY WITHOUT GOING AWAY

James 1:23-24

We used to wonder why a believer who is a son of God, will begin to live in sin and start acting like a sinner which he isn't. It is strange and is not of our Father. Then we see in James 1:23-24 , that a man who doesn't practice the Word is like one beholds his natural face in a glass (the Word of God) and then goes off, and immediately forgets what manner of man he is. So we felt that because he forgets who he is, he begins to behave otherwise, and we thought that him forgetting was the root of the matter. But no, that was wrong. See carefully, the man beholds who he naturally is, and then goes away, and then forgets. So that's it! He goes away! That means he stops beholding! Forgetting who he is, is only a product of His stopping to behold. So we don't remember who we are by trying not to forget.

We remember who are by continually beholding the Word of the Father. If ever a son stops beholding, he immediately forgets who he is. But glory to God!! It's not in the nature of sons to stop beholding the Father. We never stop listening to the voice of the Father. For its of the Father to speak and reveal Himself in the Son, and it's given unto the son to hear and see of the Father. It's natural of the son to obey. So because of the life of our Father in us, we continually behold, and we keep knowing who we are, from glory to glory. If anyone has stopped beholding, he must return to the Father now, who forgives all that returns, and he should remain listening to the Father. And anyone who hasn't accepted the Father and the life of the son in Him, should believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, give His life to Christ and accept Christ Jesus into His life. You're blessed continually.
