RESOURCES ARE AMPLIFIERS
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10 NKJV
There are some people who think that they want to do so much for God with their resources. Resources such as finances, influence, skills, abilities and so on. They however believe they they do not yet have enough for them to start to do anything for God yet. They are hopeful that if God would only increase their resources, then they'd be able to start.
Guess what? Such people are in an error. They'll never start if they remain in that error. Because the reason they aren't doing anything for God right now isn't because of the size of their resources. It's simply because of their unfaithfulness.
The grace to do does not function because of increased resources. If you haven't started with so little, you wouldn't do anything with so much. That's the simple truth. The person who cannot tithe from his small income, will also not tithe even if the income is multiplied.
The person who does not speak to his immediate community about the Lord will also not do so even if he had the whole world as a stage. Don't deceive yourself. The time to do anything for God is now, and you must start with what you have. Practice faithfulness with what you have, and you'll be faithful when more is added as well. Glory to God.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for the gifts, abilities and resources you have delivered to me. I choose to use them at my level now to do your work, and be about the kingdom. Thank you Father for the opportunity to serve in your house in Jesus name. Amen.
