GOD'S BLESSING TO ALL NATIONS
since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? Genesis 18:18 NKJV
God said two things in our theme verse. Firstly, Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and then all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in Him. Abraham was going to become a great and mighty nation through his earthly descendants multiplying and growing into a great nation (Israel).
But how would all the nations of the earth be blessed in Him? It happened through Jesus Christ. God loved the world so much that He gave His son to be sacrificed for the sins of the whole world. The outcome of this eternal sacrifice is that,
If anyone believes in Jesus Christ, he should not perish, but instead receive eternal life. You see, this blessing of salvation was made available to the whole world, through Jesus Christ. And it's still very much available today. This is why Jesus sent us into the world.
He said go into the world and make disciples of all nations! Because the offer of salvation is for every nation. Jesus Christ is available to anybody who would only believe in Him. Is Jesus Christ Lord of your life?
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for your sacrifice for me on the cross. Thank you for dying for the sake of men, and for being the atonement for the sins of the whole world. I love you dear Lord, and I'll continue to bring souls to your kingdom, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
