OUR LIFE IS A MESSAGE
In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives.
1 Peter 3:1-2 NLT
Notice what apostle Peter says to wives concerning their husbands. He says accept the authority of your husbands, that is submit to them. So that even if they refuse to obey the salvation message, your godly lives will speak to them without any words, and they will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives. Hallelujah.
This simply means that their lives were a message in itself. If they wouldn't hear the preached message of salvation, at least their lives would speak to them. Your life has a voice. It speaks! This is irrespective of whether you're a wife, a husband, a boy or a girl. Your life speaks.
The message your life speaks however, is dependent on the type of life you actually live. This is why the apostle urged them to live good lives. So that their lives will speak a good message to their husbands.
If you live a bad life, your life will speak a bad message, and no one will be able to be saved through the life you're living. Don't live an empty life. Live by the word of God, so that's your life when observed, will speak the message of the word. Glory to God:
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I choose to live by your word. Precious Father, I understand my life itself is a message being preached. Help me Lord to live for you daily, they my life will be your word on display, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
