SEE HOW TO BEHAVE WHEN YOUR FATHER STARTS TAKING YOU TO CONFERENCES IN OTHER MINISTRIES:
One of the privileges you will enjoy as a staff or associate to a father with a large heart, is to find yourself seated with him at the same conference. But most sons that are not wise and well-informed, can be lost in the process.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO ABUSE SUCH PRIVILEGE, THERE ARE SIX THINGS YOU MUST KNOW.
Don't take what I tell you seriously, just take it to your father, and ask him to tell you if the things I say here are the truth.
1. NEVER FORGET THAT YOU WERE NOT DIRECTLY INVITED, IT WAS YOUR FATHER THAT TOOK YOU THERE: This will help you accept other things I will say. It is a privilege and not a right. Never abuse that privilege.
2. AS YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE, NEVER FORGET THAT IT IS FORBIDDEN FOR YOU TO LEAVE YOUR FATHER AND JOIN THEM IN THAT PLACE: Most sons make this mistake of falling in love with the same place their father took them to, to the point of leaving their fathers for those places. Some hosts will not even redirect such sons back to their fathers. Some are not even aware that some sons are that foolish. That place you love, sons made it that way, return back home to make your own place lovable also.
3. ANY MONEY YOU ARE LED TO SOW AS THEY CALL FOR SEEDS, GIVE IT TO YOUR FATHER TO SOW ON YOUR BEHALF OR INFORM HIM OF YOUR INTENTION, WHATEVER HE INSTRUCTS YOU TO DO, IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: Do you know what it takes to pull you to that program, it cost the ministry money. That your seed can be a support to your father in managing the stress of pulling all of you there. It is even wrong to give to a pastor what you have never given to your own pastor.
How can the Holy Spirit ask you to give to a pastor what you have never given to your own pastor? He is not a spirit of disorder. Charity begins at home.
4. HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT CHURCH AFTER THE MEETING WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR FATHER: in some instances, they will want to follow you up and ensure you are planted. It is your responsibility to let them know that you are planted somewhere.
5. BY ALL MEANS LET THE THINGS YOU LEARNT THERE SHOW IN YOUR DEPARTMENT IN CHURCH: You were not taken there just to take pictures. You were taken there to return back and improve your assignment based on what you were taught there. If after such a meeting, you are not different in performance from those who did not attend, you have wasted the investment on you.
6. SOME THINGS WILL BE SAID IN THE CONFERENCE THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOUR FATHER REPRESENT, DON'T SEE IT AS A SIGN THAT YOUR FATHER IS WRONG: For example, you may hear I have never done any business since God called me, that is not to say your father is wrong for doing business. Every ministry will build according to the template and pattern God gave them.
No church is the perfect standard of how other churches should be run.
