THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
Have you ever considered the nature of the power that is at work in you? Yes, people know that they received the Holy Spirit into their hearts at salvation? But only few have given deep thought to what this means for them.
The power of the Holy Spirit in the life of a man can only truly be revealed by the Holy Spirit Himself in that life. But our theme verse says, that "to God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all that we ask or think, to Him be glory in the church by Jesus Christ for ever more."
It's easy to agree that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, but that same scripture says, He does this, according to His power at work in us! Not His power at work in heaven, that would be easier to comprehend.
His power at work in you, is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than anything you can imagine? What are the limits on your inside if that same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you? The question is, how much do you know this power? How much do you know the Holy Spirit?
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I know you are the power at work in me, because you dwell in me. I give you glory dear Lord. Help me to know you. Help me to know Christ Jesus in me. Thank you dear Lord, in Jesus name. Amen
