NO ABANDONED PROJECT
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Philippians 1:6 NKJV
Apostle Paul revealed something beautiful and interesting concerning God's plan for us with respect to building us up. He said he prays for the Christians in Philippi, being confident that Christ who has started a good work in them will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
You realise that this also applies to us, you and I, because we have received the same salvation which they received. Christ who has started a good work in us, will also complete it until the day of His return. This is very important for us to know.
Sometimes, people are made to believe that God might've abandoned them. They know He was at work in them sometime ago, but then, for a while, they haven't felt Him move in them like He used to. And so they suspect God might have stopped with them.
But you see, Christ will never stop half way. If He started with you, you can trust Him to continue with you, and He will bring what He started in you to more glorious levels than you could ever imagine. And this will continue until he He returns. Only stay with Him. God has no abandoned projects.
Prayer: I thank you dear Lord, because I know that you will never stop half way with me. I thank you because I know your plans for me are still very much in tact. Help me dear Lord to remain and continue with you, until the very end, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
