Love, Light and Life

... more than a devotional

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 NKJV

Do you know that you can control your thoughts? It is true that your life is a product of your thoughts. The expressions and actions you give out are an outward appearance of all that has gone on inside you, inside your mind and on your thoughts.

And so your life is a product of your thought pattern, but you can control your thoughts. People think thoughts just come, and that whatever thoughts that come are the thoughts they have to think. But no, you're actually responsible to decide what thoughts you let stay in you.

You might not be responsible for all the thoughts that come to your mind, but you're responsible for the ones you let stay. You can alter your thoughts through two tools. Your meditation and your confession. Meditation is anything you give attention to contemplate on. Naturally, you'd begin to speak what you meditate on as it fills your mind.

But you can also intentionally control what you speak consistently too. When you begin to change your confession, the current thought process that would've given birth to it's own outcome are altered. So God gave Joshua a specific instruction, for what you meditate on and confess for a specific result. You too can change your thoughts, and thus your results. Hallelujah.

Affirmation: I choose not to go on with just any thought that rushes into my mind. I think upon only what is good, noble, pure, wise, valuable, productive, and my life is full of good results, in Jesus name. Amen
