WE COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? I Corinthians 12:18-19 NKJV
The kingdom of God is not a place for competition or comparison. We are not called to do something better than another fellow. No. We are called to do just what our Lord Jesus assigns us to do.
Many people move with a mind of competition and comparison in the body. Trying to see who is better and who is more or less important. That's not the character of Christ.
The Holy Spirit whom we received from God put in us different graces, different assignments and different abilities. And He made it this way so that our differences, though by the same Spirit, will complement each other, and we'll have a glorious body all together.
Don't fall for the deception that someone is less important or more important because he or she does things differently. Don't try to compete. You could get off your God designed track. Just choose to walk in love with everyone, in the light of your own assignment.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for your love towards us. And for the diverse graces and gifts you've put on us. I thank you for your love in my heart, by which I love my brethren. Help me Lord to walk in love with others, as I fulfill my call in Jesus name. Amen
