CHOOSE TO BE A MIRACLE
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; Acts 3:2 NKJV
The man who was set daily at the beautiful gate was already an adult, meaning he was already born and cripple long before Jesus started His public ministry. Though Jesus must've visited the temple during His days, this man wasn't healed yet.
It was during the days of the apostles that he was healed. There were definitely many others who weren't also healed during the days of the apostles, but were probably healed later. And there must've been some that weren't even healed in their lifetime.
You see, many people choose to see themselves among those always needing a miracle. It's not bad, but guess what? When you receive the Holy Spirit and start walking with Him by the Word, He alters your mindset. And you move from seeing yourself as the one who needs miracles to seeing yourself as the one who is giving miracles.
You've got to understand that you're the one giving miracles. You're born as the answer to the prayer of many. You may not choose the state of your birth, but you will choose how you grow and live. So choose to live this life of Christ! Don't wait for anyone. Set the pace!
AFFIRMATION: I choose to live the life of Christ! Because I am born again. I am the one who is sent just as Jesus was sent, therefore I am in the shoes of Jesus! And this same mind of a son, a servant and a saviour, in Christ, is the same mind in me! Glory to God!
