REVELATION GROWS BY PRACTICING THE WORD
“Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.””
John 14:21 NLT
Do you know that your revelation of God's word would grow as you practice the word you already know? Jesus said so Himself. To those who accept His word and keep them, that is walk in them, He would reveal Himself to them.
This is so beautiful. As you walk in the Word, you grow in understanding. You grow in insight. You grow in maturity. Because the more you follow the word, the more revelation of the word you'd have.
This is why people who don't keep the word cannot grow spiritually. And they remain in that shallow knowledge level, because what they know, they haven't kept, therefore more cannot be added to them.
We are so blessed. This is what Jesus meant. He that is faithful in what He has, to Him more will be added. Do you want to know the Lord, walk in His word. That depth you desire, will come as you walk with the Lord.
Prayer: I thank you Lord for you Word which gives me grace to practice it. I choose to walk in your word, that I may know you even more. In Jesus name. Amen.
