ONLY JESUS DOES GOOD
“Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?””
John 10:21 NKJV
Consider the question in our theme verse. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind? Can a demon heal? Can a demon bring deliverance? The answer is no. Demons can do gimmicks, they can play tricks and try to deceive. But they never bring wholeness to a man.
They never rescue anyone from darkness. They never transform a life and bring peace to it. Doing good, healing and delivering are strictly works of the Holy Spirit.
For those who are carnal and not discerning, they may fall into a deception of the devil. But for those who pay attention to the Holy Spirit, they wouldn't be looking for the performance of wonders, but for the healing of a soul and the restoration of peace.
Only Jesus and those with Jesus do good. How God Annointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and He went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. This is the Lord's work, and we too are called to do such.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you. Because by your Holy Spirit you empower us and direct us to do good just as Jesus did, bringing healing and deliverance to all who are oppressed of devils. I thank you Lord for making me a part of your work, which I will do till the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
