“Jesus answered, It was not that this man or his parents sinned, but he was born blind in order that the workings of God should be manifested (displayed and illustrated) in him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭9:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Spiritual growth has to do with the gradual exchange of our thoughts for the thoughts of Jesus, and the exchange of our ways for His ways. Here is a beautiful example of the thought process of Jesus Christ.

When He and His disciples saw a man born blind, the disciples were thinking of the cause of the problem, and we're wondering who was to be blamed or who was responsible for the man's condition. Jesus however had a very different mentality.

In response to His disciples He said neither the man nor His parents sinned, but  his condition was so that God's work of healing can be displayed in Him. Wow! It's not that the Holy Spirit just told Jesus that stuff at the moment. No. It was simply His mentality expressed.

When He looked at the man with the problem, he didn't exactly see a problem. He rather saw another opportunity for God to provide a solution! What a mentality! And this is how God wants us to think! To realise that every problem is an opportunity for God to provide a solution, usually through us!!

Prayer: Glory be to God who provides solutions to the problems of people even through me! I realise that every problem is an opportunity for solutions, and I'm God's agent for solutions on earth in Jesus name. Amen!
