THIRST NO MORE
“but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.””
John 4:14 NKJV
You see Jesus said, that whoever drinks of the water that He gives (that is the living water) will never thirst again. The living water is the life of God received at salvation. And many persons, as it is, have drunk of this water, and yet believe that are still thirsty.
Jesus spoke of a satisfaction that would ensure that we ourselves even become sources of living water to our world. But not many have this experience. You see, the truth is that Jesus will only be to you, what you understand that He is.
So the deficiencies or limitations people experience in their lives even as Christians are due to the limitations in their understanding or knowledge of Jesus, and not due to limitations in His person.
Many don't believe they've received everything they'd ever need for life at salvation, and so they're still in lack (2Peter 1:3). They still thirst for satisfaction. But all you need, is wrapped up in the word. It's time to thirst no more, and rather grow in intimate knowledge with Jesus.
Affirmation: I believe that in Christ I have all things I need to live for God's glory. As eternal life is to know the Lord, I chose to grow in intimate knowledge with Jesus by the word everyday. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
