THE FATHER SIMPLIFIED
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. John 1:18
Jesus came to give us eternal life, and he succeeded. Interestingly, Jesus described eternal life as knowing the Father, as the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He sent. You see this is what Jesus came to give to us. Knowledge, intimacy with the Father.
Observe the account in John 14:9 : Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Jesus said "He who has seen me has seen the Father", the one who He came to help us know. So who exactly is Jesus? I'll tell you. Jesus is the Father revealed to us! Jesus is the explanation of God. Jesus is who God is. The Father simplified!
Jesus is simply God made to known to us. So how do you expect to get to know God, and grow in eternal life except through Jesus Christ who is God revealed. There's no other way to know God except through "God to know". Receive Jesus today and walk with Him.
Prayer: Dear Father, I figure I cannot do life on my own. I come to you, believing in Jesus as the only begotten son of God. The way to life. I receive Jesus today into my life, and I submit to Him as Lord. I believe in you Lord Jesus. You are my king. You rule my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
