ABOVE THE SCIENCE
“John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”” John 1:15 NLT
Did you know that Elizabeth conceived John the Baptist about 5 months before Mary conceived Jesus? This means that medically, John the Baptist was most probably born about 5 months before our Lord Jesus was born as a baby.
This means, scientifically, John existed before Jesus existed physically in this world. But consider the statement of John the Baptist concerning Jesus. ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’ "Existed long before me"?
That statement is proof that the man Jesus, the Son of God, lived above the science and knowledge of this world. He was not limited by it, and so the fact that He was a man did not take away His "Godness" from Him.
Why should you, a son of God today, be limited by the science of this world. What Science knows about you is neither the truth nor the totality of you. You live above the science because of the life of God in you. Realise who you are. Refuse to limited.
Affirmation: I refuse to be limited by the knowledge and science of this world. I know who I am. A creation of the God kind. My life is defined by the word of God only, beyond what science says. To the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!
