NO INTIMIDATION

But from those who seemed to be something—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God shows personal favoritism to no man— ......... Galatians 2:6

Sometimes, certain Christian‘s might be tempted to be intimidated by the aura, charisma or presence of other Christians who are perceived in high regard by the public. It might be that the sound of their tongues is just so powerful, or they have spoken of the many hours of prayers they have had,

or the many days of fasting they have done. It might even be in their charisma or command while they speak. But remember, none of these things define the efficacy of a man’s walk with God.

It is okay to be inspired by others, but don’t allow yourself to be intimidated by another person's personality. Understand that it is the same Christ at work in them that is also at work in you. So focus on what really matters, your personal walk with God.

Build a real relationship with God such that you’ll be confident in any place and in anyone’s presence. God has no favorites, but the quality of your walk with Him determines the efficacy of your Christianity. That is what matters.

Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for choosing me as one of your royal children. Help me to focus on what really matters, my fellowship with you. Help me Lord not to be distracted by things that seem to matter, and focus on what truly matters. I love you, in Jesus name amen.
