FOCUS ON CHRIST
“Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”” Galatians 2:16 NLT
"For no one will ever be made right with God, by obeying the law". You see, this is not a call for people to disobey the law, rather, it is a call for you to take your focus off from the law and from your human efforts, and put it on Christ.
When you focus on your human ability and human efforts to get you right with God, you remain frustrated, because human efforts definitely fail.
However, Christ is the grace of God revealed to us. He tells us he has taken our blame for sin, and tells us to look on ourselves no more. He tells us to keep our mind focused on Him, who is our justification in the Father's presence,
and to also fill ourselves with His word, such that His word in us will produce the working and results of righteousness. Focus on Jesus dear friend. He is our victory. Hallelujah!.
Affirmation: I choose to focus on Jesus Christ. I look to Him in whom there is no condemnation against me. I feed my mind with His word and I don’t let the world’s noise get into me. I am justified because of Christ. I am not guilty!
