FAITH THROUGH LOVE
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Galatians 5:6
The life of Christianity is the life of the expressions of our faith in Christ Jesus. Having believed in Him, our faith in Him must be put to practice to produce results. And all we do in the name of Jesus should be the result of our faith, our belief in His word.
However, Jesus has a nature. The nature of love. It is his foremost personality. This same nature is poured out into us by the Holy Spirit when we believe in Jesus, and this nature of love, becomes the lens,
or ray to which everything that proceeds from us must conform to. All that proceeds from us should be the proceedings of faith, and all of our faith works should conform to the nature of the love of God in us.
Thus our Christian walk becomes a life of faith working through love. Do you pray? Pray in love! Do you teach? Teach in love! Do you correct? Correct in love! Do you give? Give in love! How do you express your faith in Christ? Ensure it is done in love. The call is faith through love!
Affirmation: I am a child of love, and that love is God. Therefore, everything I do is done in love! My faith walk is a life of love. I refuse to not love! In Jesus name, amen.
