ONLY ONE NAME
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17
Have you ever been to an occasion where a top dignitary should be in attendance, but then he sends his representative instead? Yes, like the President’s representative gracing your location. He comes in the name of the president and with the authority of the president.
Well, there is an occasion where God should be, but he has sent his representatives. The occasion of the happenstances of life in the passage of time, right here on earth! He has sent his representatives, you and I, and all who believe in him. He has sent us in his name, the name Jesus Christ.
Who is the Chief rep, the optimal image of the father. We are on Earth now, gracing the occasion of the life of men as representatives of the father in the name of Jesus. That name has the fullness of God embedded in it, and thus our authority is His authority.
This is the only name given under heaven by which man must be saved. So would you function by the name of Jesus? There is only one name with all authority and power. The name of Jesus. The name you are sent by. You are gods representative. Live like a representative of Christ. Use his name.
Affirmation: I am sent on earth in the name of Jesus. I win souls, and spread the culture of the kingdom of God here on earth. I am an agent of Christ, and in the name of Jesus, I do the impossible!
