COLD LOVE
“Either way, Christ’s love controls us.... 2 Corinthians 5:14 NLT
"Cold Love?" That doesn't sound like love at all. Love should not be cold, it should bring warmth; carrying passion, care and comfort to others. Well, interestingly, the scriptures testify that in the last days, the love of many will grow cold (Matthew 24:12).
This is sad. Cold Love is dead love. Lifeless love. Love without an effect. In the last days, the love of many will be of no effect. Many will be like men without love in their hearts.
And it's happening already. God's love within you is a vital force that helps you chart the course of your life according the will of God. Our theme verse says, Either ways, Christ's love controls us.
So if that love grows cold, it means you're out of Christ's control. And we have many men, who are out of Christ's control today. Many times your life will be kept on course only because of His love within you. Don't let that love grow cold.
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you because I am chosen by you to be controlled and prompted by your love within me. My love will not grow cold or become of no effect.I am filled with your love, in Jesus name. Amen.
