BY WHAT WE UNDERSTAND
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding,... 1 John 5:20
There's so much going on in the world that we do not see with our physical eyes. So much that is not revealed to the natural man. This is why we do not live or pray or move just because of the things we see physically.
But we function by the things we understand. Because we know that the Son (Jesus) has come and has given us an understanding. So we walk, not by the things we see, but by the things we understand.
For by faith we understand (Hebrews 11:3) and we walk by faith. Therefore our life as spiritual people in Christ is not defined by the physical at all. We don't need to see physically before we know. We are aware of so much because we have spiritual understanding.
Don't be a carnal person. Life goes way beyond sight. Your physical perception is highly limited. Function by the understanding of the Spirit, and sharpen your mind by the word and prayer. You're blessed. TCF
